Battle of Void

Time: Year 1 BC (Before Collapse), end of the Mythic Era.

Involved Parties:
  • Sar, Sarg, their children (Humans, Elves, Dragons, Kenis), The Mystic
  • The Void Demon, Miuras (allied with the demon), Orcs (corrupted Kenis), Valks (corrupted humans)
Outcome:
  • Sar died, but the Void Demon was defeated.
  • Magic was released into the world.
  • The Miuras' land of Arbor was moved far south.
  • Resulted in the creation of Orcs from Kenis and Valks from humans through corruption.
Description:
  • A pivotal battle between divine forces and the Void Demon, which profoundly shaped Sunderland and the origins of its various races.

Northern War

Time: Began in 96 AC.

Involved Parties:
  • Tarvek and Sarath clans (human) vs. Pelgad and Acthaelion clans (human)
  • Giants sided with Tarveks
Outcome:
  • Sparked by the assassination of King Halbran by a Valk.
  • Devastated the North's economy and relations between the human clans.
Description:
  • An internal conflict among human clans in the North that further weakened the region, setting the stage for its ultimate collapse.

War of the West

Time: 170 AC.

  • Orcs vs. Kenis
  • Queen Imiltha (elf) and Dragon Queen Belsi, along with 10 dragons and elf riders (aided Kenis)
Outcome:
  • Orcs were defeated in their attempt to reclaim the Tharsar Desert.
  • Kenis granted Orcs the southwest portion of the desert, fostering an uneasy truce.

War of the East

The Council of Children

Northern Collapse (Catastrophic Flood of Snow)

  • The entire North 'died out,' with the Arasi clan of elves and Giants perishing.

The Dark Read
